YSU hoops teams get Horizon dates

DETROIT

The Youngstown State Universty men’s basketball team will open the Horizon League’s men’s tournament against Cleveland State at Little Caesar’s Arena.

The game will be played on Friday at 8 p.m.

The winner will advance to play top seeded Northern Kentucky Saturday at 8 p.m.

The Penguins are the nine seed.

With the five seed, the YSU women’s basketball team next will play on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. against four seed Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
