Is getting re-elected more important than lives?

How many young children will have to die before our congressman and senators will get off their behinds and do something that will protect them? You can bet that if someone shot up their children’s or grandchildren’s school, they would act pretty fast.

Then again, maybe they would still do nothing out of fear that they might lose political backing from their donors for re-election. After all, getting re-elected is more important than saving someone else’s child from getting hurt or killed.

Our politicians talk, but they don’t say anything out of fear they might lose a political donor’s backing. What a disgusting bunch they are. If it doesn’t affect them, then there is nothing wrong.

Then again all their relatives go to private schools.
