Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown Area will present its spring event, which will be hosted by Immaculate Heart Garden Club and Hubbard Junior Garden Club, at Fellows Riverside Gardens on April 21. Registration will take place from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Pat Connolly, developer and builder of the 911 Memorial in Austintown will speak. Lunch will take place at noon and includes stuffed pepper, pirogi, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, dessert and a beverage. Kathy Lutz will demonstrate a floral design after lunch. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. The public is welcome. Reservations must be made by April 7. For information, call Irene John at 330-423-8638.

Men's Garden Club of Youngstown will meet at 7 p.m. March 7 at Fellows Riverside Gardens. Speaker will be Eric Tanner, one of the club’s 2017 scholarship winners, who will talk about growing vegetables and hops using hydroponics.
