The Lake Club, 1140 Paulin Road, will host the annual American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball on March 24. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception and silent action, and dinner with a live auction will follow at 7.

The theme of the ball will be “Denim and Diamonds,” and attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly.

This year’s honorees and special guests include NEO Urology Associates Inc., medical honoree; Matthew Hiznay, cancer survivor honoree; Bob Komara, honorary chairman; and Brett Wilcox and Ava Timko, special guests and pediatric cancer survivors. Carole Weimer and Annette Camacci are chairwomen of the event.

Entertainment will be provided by Leanne Binder during the cocktail hour, and The Sensations also will perform.

Mike Case of 21 WFMJ-TV will serve as master of ceremonies, and Paul Basinger will be the auctioneer.
