Mr. and Mrs. Koenig celebrate golden jubilee

CANFIELD

Mr. and Mrs. James Koenig of Canfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a family party last summer in Lake Milton. The event was hosted by their children.

Mr. Koenig married the former Patricia Schell on July 14, 1967, in Youngstown.

The Koenigs’ children are Matt (Susanne) Koenig of Youngstown and Mike Koenig of Boardman. Three grandchildren complete their family.

Mrs. Koenig worked in the clerical department for Trumbull/Mahoning Medical Group in Austintown until retiring in 2004.

Mr. Koenig was a welder for 30 years for General Motors in Lordstown. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1967-69.
