Francesca Lucia Colella and Frank Anthony Catalano, both of Poland, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Jan. 20. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Michael Cariglio at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica. A reception took place that evening at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The bride is a daughter of Mary Colella of Boardman and the late Thomas Colella.
The groom is a son of Gemma Catalano of Poland and the late Frank Catalano.
The bride wore a fit-and-flare gown trimmed with ivory lace appliques and beaded straps.
Katherine Very was matron of honor, and Ivy Poma was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Madeline Pagan and Natalie Miller, sisters of the bride; Adreann Loxton, sister of the groom; Amanda Mason; Andria DiBacco; and Colleen Monahan.
The attendants wore black dresses.
James Anderson and David Adkins shared the responsibilities of best man. Groomsmen were Dan Pagan and Nate Miller, brothers-in-law of the bride; Tim Loxton, brother-in-law of the groom; John McHenry; Jonathan Italiano; and Brian Stevens. Daniel and Dominic Pagan, nephews of the bride, served as ushers.
Mrs. Catalano graduated from Gannon University, Erie, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree in health science and a master’s degree in physician assistant science. She is a physician’s assistant and works for Alteon Health in the Mercy Health St. Elizabeth emergency departments in Youngstown, Boardman and Austintown and Mercy Health – Boardman Walk-In Care.
Mr. Catalano attended Youngstown State University and is a self-employed contractor in Struthers.
The couple honeymooned in Antigua and reside in Poland.
