LIBERTY TOWNSHIP

Cyler Kane-Johnson hit two free throws with 6.6 seconds to go to give himself a Niles school record 53 points, and put Niles ahead for good. Kane-Johnson hit 10 3-pointers and was a perfect 11-11 from the free throw line. Kane-Johnson also surpassed 1,000 career points on a 3-point make in the third quarter. Jacob Buttar added 10 points for Niles in the victory. Dra Rushton led Liberty with 27 points, including a basket to put the Leopards ahead before Kane-Johnson made the final two free throw. Also in double figures for the Leopards were David Sewell (14 points), Kevin Code (12), and Ezell Brown (11).

HOWLAND

Gabby Hartzell led Howland to a victory with a 14 point performance. Ka’Rina Mallory added 12 points and Mackenzie Maze did it all for the Tigers, totaling 11 points, nine rebounds, and five assists. Alex Ochman also reached double figures with 10 points and seven steals. Ravenna was led by Avery Robinson with seven points and five rebounds. The Tigers will take on Struthers on Monday at 7:45 p.m. at Fitch High School in a district semifinal matchup.

BELOIT

Natalie Zuchowski scored 14 points and made 14 rebounds to lead the Warriors (23-0). Kayla Horvorka, Peyton Alazaus and Shannon Wolfe each scored nine points. West Branch will play Poland on Monday at 6 p.m. in the Austintown district. A. Radcliff scored nine points for the Pirates.
