Drove truck through gate at FBI office

YOUNGSTOWN

A New Waterford man pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving a large dump truck through the gate at the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Pittsburgh field office.

Thomas Ross, 49, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh to one count of willfully injuring or committing depredation against any property of the United States.

The government estimated the damage at $183,684.

Ross faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 at sentencing.
