SPORTS digest|| Phantoms' Prosvetov receives USHL honor

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown Phantom goaltender Ivan Prosvetov is this week’s USHL Goaltender of the Week.

The Phantoms swept their weekend series against the Waterloo Black Hawks. Prosvetov started in the net both games, letting in just three goals while blocking 61 shots throughout the two games.

Prosvetov has played 25 games, posting a record of 13-7-2-0.

The Phantoms are tied for first place in the Eastern Conference and will host the Omaha Lancers on Thursday at the Covelli Centre. The Lancers are the top team in the Western Conference.
