All-American Conference Tournament

For the Red Tier girls, Austintown Fitch, led by senior Erin Harper (187-179, 366), rolled a total 2,163. The Falcons were followed by Boardman (2,075), Warren Harding (1,996), Canfield (1,960), Howland (1,832) and Lakeside (1,728). Harper was the Red Tier girls tournament MVP. For the boys, Howland with a total pinfall of 2,448, claimed the victory. Rounding out the scoring, Harding (2.427), Austintown (2.400), Boardman (2.163), Lakeside (2,045), and Canfield (1,914). Austintown Fitch senior Mitch Desaito nabbed MVP honors with a 183 and 203 for a 386 set.

In the White Tier girls, Hubbard captured the win with a 2,200 team total. They were led by MVP Jenny Reebel who bowled a 160 and 170 for her 330 set. Struthers (1,966) came in second, followed by Lakeview (1,931), Niles (1,816), and Liberty (1,644). For the Whiter Tier boys, Struthers won with 2,628l. They were led by MVP freshman Jared Medvec, and his 190-204—394 set. Hubbard (2,579), Lakeview (2,416), Niles (2,407) and Liberty (2,370) rounded out the scoring.

Gird swept the Blue Tier. The girls won with a 2,216 tally while the boys gained a 2,428 total pinfall. The Indians were led by MVPs, sophomore Heidi Troutman (184-158—342) and junior Donny Bishop (195-223—418). Other scores were LaBrae (1,958), Campbell (1,841), Brookfield (1,798) and Champion (1,600). The other boys scores were Champion (2,359), Brookfield (2,140), LaBrae (2,110) and Campbell (1,794).
