Members of the Austintown Fitch High School concert choir visited a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Austintown. Director Bill Klein discussed the group’s spring tour, which will include a visit to a veteran hospital in New Jersey and conclude with a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York. Two of the nine selections for Carnegie Hall were performed for the club, which resulted in a $200 collection by “passing the hat.” Also included in the meeting was a check presentation to Tony Rivetti to help finance a Middle East War Memorial for Veterans Park in Wickliffe Circle.
