SENIOR CITIZENS


AARP 4611 East, Youngstown, will meet for an executive board meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave. A black history program will take place at noon with Ernie A. Brown Jr., regional editor with The Vindicator, who will speak on the importance of black people voting. Guests and new members are welcome at meetings and bus trips. Annual membership dues of $7 will be collected. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Report any illnesses to Evelyn at 330-530-2734 and deaths to Darlene at 330-783-0542.

AFSCME Retirees of Subchapter 118 will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at 150 S. Four Mile Run Road, Austintown.

Holy Family Seniors Group will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Holy Family Parish Hall, 2729 Center Road, Poland. Hostesses for the Valentine-themed meeting will be Ruth Burns, Carol Huck and Laurie Fox. Lunch will be served at noon followed by bingo and card games. If weather conditions cause unsafe travel, the meeting will be canceled.
