Contest’s 2nd-place winner meets ‘Mama’ backstage

Kim Welch, of Leavittsburg, second-place winner of the Valentine love story ending contest that was sponsored by The Vindicator won two tickets to “Vicki Lawrence and Mama: A Two Woman Show.” Welch chose her sister, Karen Mamula, to accompany her last week. While the sisters were in the lobby, they were observing posters of upcoming performances and inquired about Lawrence’s poster. Mamula explained to the attendant how their tickets were obtained and he told them he could “do better than a poster” and proceeded to lead the two women backstage to meet Lawrence.
