Mary Bourque, Mr. Matzye plan April rite

LAFAYETTE, LA.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bourque Jr., of Lafayette, La., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Mary Katherine Bourque, to Christopher Alan Matzye, both of Lafayette.

Mr. and Mrs. Damon Matzye of Austintown are the parents of the prospective groom.

The ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Lafayette. Invitations will be issued.

The couple both graduated from Louisiana State University with master’s degrees in occupational therapy and are therapists for the Therapy Center of Lafayette.

Mr. Matzye also served as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Reserves in Vienna as an air transportation craftsman.
