Opioid summit set

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning County Juvenile Court will host a community opioid summit from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Covelli Centre on Front Street downtown.

Speakers will include several local officials and people and family members who have experience with addiction.

Among the speakers are officials from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and doctors at local recovery centers.

Judge Theresa Dellick encourages friends and family of those struggling with addiction to attend the free event, which is open to the public.

Mahoning County Juvenile Court advisory board and the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board are sponsors.
