Committee to sponsor fundraising tea today

The Springfield Capital Campaign Committee will sponsor a Teddy Bear Tea from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today, in the meeting room of the Poland Library. The event will feature Linda G. Brady-Smith, author of “Andy Finds a Friend” and her granddaughter, Avery Elise Sun, who illustrated the book. There will be finger foods for lunch and a raffle. Children can take a favorite teddy bear. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children. For reservations, call 330-740-6086. The Springfield Capital Campaign raises money in support of the Springfield Library, a branch of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County.
