The 2018 Poland Swimvitational took place on Jan. 27 at the YSU Natatorium.
The boys team won overall with 513 points.
Senior Cullen Brady had four first place finishes (200-yard individual medley, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard free relay and 400-yard free relay). Senior Kamran Sarac also had four first place finishes (100-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard free relay and 400-yard free relay).
Rob DiDomenico earned two first place finishes (200-yard freestyle and 200-yard medley relay) and a third in the 500-yard free. James Dietz earned a first place in the 200-yard medley relay. Bobby Kutsch placed second in the 50-yard free and placed first in three events (the 500-yard free, 200-yard free relay and 400-yard free relay). Jason Paris placed second in the 200-yard free and placed first in three events (50-yard free, 200-yard free relay and 400-yard free relay).
Joe Klepec placed first in the 200-yard medley relay and third in the 100-yard breaststroke. Matthew Peckman placed first in the 200-yard medley relay and the 100-yard backstroke. Conner Fritz placed second in the 100-yard backstroke.
The girls team placed third overall with 263 points.
Leading scorers for the girls were Sydney Schuler with first place in the 200-yard free relay, second in the 100-yard free and third in the 200-yard medley relay and 100-yard backstroke) and Elle Dawson with first place in the 200-yard free relay, second in the 100-yard backstroke and third in the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard medley relay.
Theresa Wasylychyn placed first in the 100-yard free relay and second in the 400-yard free relay. Misabella Kelty placed second in the 400-yard free relay. Jordan Helmick placed second in the 100-yard butterfly and the 400-yard free relay and third in the 200-yard medley relay. Miranda Peckman placed first in the 200-yard free relay, second in the 400-yard free relay and third in the 200-yard medley relay.
