Muralist sought for YMCA wall

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Arts & Education at the Hoyt is seeking proposals from qualified professional muralists for the design and execution of an exterior mural on the eastern wall of the New Castle YMCA. The mural will be unveiled at the Hoyt’s annual Arts on the Riverwalk festival in downtown New Castle on Sept. 8. call 724-652-2882, ext. 11 for information.

The goals are to illustrate the Hoyt’s mission and to beautify public spaces that support the Riverwalk Trail.

Pittsburgh Opera announces lineup

PITTSBURGH

Pittsburgh Opera has announced its 2018-19 season. The following will be produced at Benedum Center: “Madama Butterfly,” Oct. 6, 9, 12 and 14; “Hansel and Gretel,” Nov. 3, 6, 9 and 11; “La Boheme,” March 30, April 2, 5 and 7; “Don Pasquale,” April 27, 30, May 3 and 5.

Subscriptions range from $45 to $644. Single ticket sales begin in late August.

‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ movie at Tinseltown
