METRO DIGEST || Best of Breed at dog show

Sue Davis of Vienna and her curly-coated retriever, Flash, won the Best of Breed award in the Westminster Dog Show on Tuesday morning. Winning the award propelled 4-year-old Flash to the next round, where he was judged against other dogs in the sporting group at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. Davis said this breed is the oldest breed of retriever but one of the least known. In the past, Flash has won the Best of Opposite Sex and Judges Award for Merit.
