Shasho retains post

YOUNGSTOWN

Charles “Chuck” Shasho will retain his position as the city’s deputy director of public works.

Mayor Jamael Tito Brown announced his decision Monday to reappoint Shasho, who will receive a salary of $86,912

Mayor Jay Williams initially appointed Shasho to the position in 2008. Mayors Charles Sammarone and John A. McNally IV both opted to keep Shasho in the position as well.

The Navy veteran and Youngstown State University graduate has worked for the city since 2000.
