Mayor retains Shasho as public works deputy director

YOUNGSTOWN — Mayor Jamael Tito Brown has reappointed Charles “Chuck” Shasho as the City of Youngstown’s deputy director of public works.

Shasho has occupied the position since 2008, in Mayor Jay Williams’ administration.

Previously, Mayors Charles Sammarone and John A. McNally IV both opted to keep Shasho in the position.

He has worked for the city since 2000.

Shasho will receive a salary of $86,920.29.
