Art museum to host teacher getaway

ERIE, PA.

Erie Art Museum will host a workshop for educators from Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade for an evening of hands-on workshops that will connect art, music and drama to their curriculum. Cabin Fever: Teacher Getaway will take place from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 20. Cost is $20 for museum members and $25 for nonmembers, and includes dinner. Participants can earn four hours of ACT 48 credit.

Daniel Burke, local artist and educator, will interact with participants and lead a tour of the museum and give an art workshop. Registration must be made by Tuesday by calling 814-459-5477 or visit edcoordinator@erieartmuseum.org.
