East High School Class of 1968 will gather for a meet and greet at 1 p.m. Monday at Johnny’s Restaurant, 7807 Market St., Boardman.

Rescue hosts bunny open house

The F5RS nonprofit 501(c)(3) no kill rescue and sanctuary, 11836 South Ave., North Lima, is hosting a bunny open house from noon to 4 p.m. today. The rescue is located in the Old School Marketplace, Building E, in the basement. There is an elevator available for use.

Newport library adjusts hours

YOUNGSTOWN

Newport Library, 3730 Market St., will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday for staff training sessions. The library will be open to the public Tuesday from 1 to 8 p.m. All other libraries in the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County system will be open according to regular schedules.

Academy to host “Paint and Sip”

POLAND

Southside Fine Arts Academy will host a “Paint and Sip” fundraiser from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at Wonderstruck Artisan Market and Classes, 6545 Clingan Road. Tickets are $40 per person and includes all painting supplies, wine and light hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $70 for two people if attending with a friend or spouse. Tickets must be pre-ordered and will not be available at the door.

The Academy is located at the Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center and opens every other Wednesday and every other Friday for those who homeschool their children. A summer program begins in June. There is no charge for children to participate. For information, call 330-540-8589.

Mothers of Twins to meet Wednesday

Youngstown Mothers of Twins Club will host its annual “Love Auction” and “Guest Night” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Davidson Becker Family Life Center, 11 Spring St. Hostesses will be Andrea Snyder, Carrie Roller, Jenny Arnaut and Erica Wood. There will be a “Love Auction” of wrapped or bagged gifts pertaining to Valentine’s Day. Plans will be discussed and tickets available for the annual quarter auction that will take place at 6 p.m. Feb. 22 at Rolling Hills (formerly Kuzmans) 1025 S. State St., Girard.
