Saxophone quartet

Transcontinental Saxophone Quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown. A master class will be held at 4:30 p.m. before the concert. Both events are sponsored by the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University and are free and open to the public. Parking is free at the church. The TSQ – comprised of musicians from Cyprus, Italy and the United States – combines elements of classical, jazz, rock, ethnic and world music. It has released a CD entitled “Mountain Roads.”
