Lauren McCann, Mr. Hrusovsky to wed in summer

James and Mary Ann McCann of Cortland and John and Pam Hrusovsky of Lowellville are announcing the engagement of their children, Lauren McCann of Austintown and Gerrod Hrusovsky of Lowellville.

The couple’s open ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. June 30 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at The Embassy, also in Youngstown.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in middle-childhood education from Younstown State University. She is a math teacher at Youngstown Community School.

The prospective groom also graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in middle-childhood education. He is a science teacher at Austintown Fitch High School.
