Struthers senior girls basketball player Alexis Bury was awarded a $250 scholarship from the Mahoning Valley Basketball Officials Scholarship. Official representative Don Dobrindt presented her with the certificate following the girls basketball senior recognition ceremony on Feb 3.

“Alexis was awarded this scholarship because of her grades, community involvement and how she acts on the court,” Dobrindt said.

Bury plans to attend Western Carolina University (NC) in the fall and major in nursing.
