Woman is hit, killed

AUSTINTOWN

A township woman was struck by a vehicle and killed Tuesday evening. Police received a call at 6:14 p.m. that a driver failed to see Leonila Adams, 60, as she was crossing South Raccoon Road. She was pronounced dead at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Police said the driver is cooperating, and no criminal charges have been filed.
