Lions present scholarship

The Poland Lions Club recently presented Jacob Hockensmith, a Poland High School senior, with a $500 scholarship. Applicants submit essays, and the winner is chosen by a committee. Poland High School seniors are eligible to apply for future scholarships. Applications will be available in March in the school’s guidance office. For information, call 330-360-3641.
