Cops search for man

City police officers are searching for a man who stole $2,000 from a Dollar Tree.

According to a police report, the Dollar Tree on McCartney Road was robbed sometime before 9 a.m. Tuesday.

A cashier reported the robbery suspect, who was carrying a bottle of window cleaner, grabbed her and demanded she give him access to the office. The individual then pulled out a red, white and blue gun and stole $1,891 before fleeing in a dark-colored vehicle.
