Canfield man pleads guilty to touching 12-year-old girl

YOUNGSTOWN — A Canfield man pleaded guilty today to inappropriately touching a 12-year-old girl.

Ronald Miller, 37, of Salem Warren Road pleaded guilty to one count of gross sexual imposition in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court before Judge Maureen A. Sweeney.

A Mahoning County grand jury indicted Miller on one count of rape in October 2016.

Prosecutors said the victim and her mother have moved out of state, and they approved the plea agreement.

Miller has no prior criminal record.

The terms of the agreement will require him to register as a sex offender.
