Man is shot in the arm in Warren

WARREN

A 23-year-old man reported being shot in the arm about 12:45 a.m. Saturday in the area of Jackson Street and York Avenue Southwest.

The man said he was in that area visiting a friend when a black Jeep drove toward him, then a male stepped out of the passenger side and fired a handgun at him. The victim then drove himself to the Trumbull Regional Medical Center for treatment.

When officers got to the hospital, they saw two windows had been shot out of a vehicle parked near the emergency room and there was blood inside the car.
