Boardman Park to expand its disc golf course to 18 holes

Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road, has announced the expansion of its Disc Golf course to 18 holes. An additional 9 holes is scheduled to be completed by late winter. The First Annual Boardman Park Disc Golf Open will take place March 25 as a celebration of the expansion. The tournament is hosted by Mahoning Valley Disc Golf Association (MVDGA). There will be two rounds of golf. Sign-in is at 8 a.m. and the first round starts at 9 a.m. There will be a lunch break from noon to 12:45 p.m. and round 2 will begin at 1 p.m. The event also includes side games.
