District announces open enrollment

STRUTHERS

The Struthers City School District will have open enrollment for the 2018-19 school year. Applications will be accepted for students in Kindergarten to eighth grade and must be picked up in person at the Struthers Board of Education office beginning Feb. 20. In order to be considered for open enrollment, completed applications must be returned in person to the Board of Education office beginning Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. No applications will be mailed, and no completed applications will be accepted Feb. 20. Applications can be turned in to the board office between 7:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The deadline for completed applications is 3 p.m. April 20. Incomplete applications, as well as any that are mailed, will not be considered. Applicants will receive written notice of the enrollment decision beginning the week of May 4. Call the board office for information at 330-750-1061. Due to existing constraints on staffing, scheduling and/or classroom space, the following programs are currently not accepting applications: grades nine through 12 and special-education.
