v Dana Chamber Orchestra, 4 p.m.: Works from the opera “The Barber of Seville” and Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings are on the program ($7, $6 for seniors and students; free for YSU students). It’s at Ford Family Recital Hall, 260 W. Federal St., Youngstown.

The Super Bowl (6 p.m., NBC): The big game is finally here. Will the New England Patriots win a sixth championship? Or will the Philadelphia Eagles win their first one?

“Victoria” (9 p.m., pbs): Finally learning of the famine in Ireland, the queen wants to help but meets surprising opposition.

YSU students will read their essays

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown State University student essayists and Stacy Graber, YSU professor of English, will be the guest readers at Lit Youngstown’s First Wednesday Readers Series event at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Soap Gallery, 117 S. Champion St., downtown. There will not be an open mic at this reading.

The students will read essays that have been published in CROW, the College Review of Writing, a journal edited by YSU Writing Center Director Angela Messenger and NEOMFA candidate and Writing Center graduate assistant Amanda Miller.

Featured essayists will include Emily Null, Madison Metheny, Lauren Laws, Tricia Miller, Lindsay Hicks and Beverly Nelson.

Graber’s research interests include popular culture, pedagogy, critical theory and semiotics. Her work has appeared in The ALAN Review, The Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review, Gravel Literary Magazine, Hamilton Stone Review, Storm Cellar, Modern Times Magazine, and YA Wednesday.
