TNP receives grant from America Walks

WARREN

Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership received one of 27 Community Change Micro Grants awarded by America Walks for use in 2018. The micro grant program provides funds to be used to empower communities to create more safe, accessible and enjoyable places to walk and be physically active. Now in its third year, the program has supported everything from new art to improved local events and school engagement projects.

TNP was selected from more than 750 applications and is proposing to host four walks within Warren neighborhoods during the nationwide Jane’s Walk events on May 4, 5 and 6. The walks will begin at a neighborhood site with a leader and will be one-half to one-hour long.

America Walks is celebrating its 20th anniversary as an organization.
