Mr. and Mrs. Esparra celebrate 65th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Porfirio Esparra recently observed their 65th wedding anniversary at a private family celebration.

The couple’s children are Rosa, Porfirio Jr., Leticia, Diana, Elsa, Reynaldo, Lydia, Minerva, Anabel and Lilian. They have 34 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren that complete their family.

Mr. Esparra and the former Eufemia Vasquez were married Jan. 9, 1953, at St. John Church in Campbell.

Mrs. Esparra is a retired nutrition aide for Ohio State University Extension Services of Columbus.

Mr. Esparra is a retired crane operator for Youngstown Sheet & Tube in Youngstown. He also is a veteran of the Korean War.

The couple are members of Santa Rosa de Lima Church in Campbell.
