Deborah Zajac and Maureen and Dr. John Koval, all of Poland, are announcing the engagement of their children, Lauren Elizabeth Zajac and David Matthew Koval. The bride-elect also is a daughter of the late Gene Zajac.
The couple are planning a summer wedding to take place at St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Cleveland with an evening reception to follow at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Ballroom. Invitations will be issued for both events.
Miss Zajac graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising. She is the director of merchandising and design for Skechers.
The prospective groom graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in accountancy and is a certified public accountant. He is a senior audit manager for Grant Thornton LLP in Cleveland.
