Reports said police found two bags of suspected crack cocaine, 11 pills and $1,065 cash on a man pulled over about 8:25 p.m. Thursday at West Princeton and Hudson avenues for an improper turn.

LaPriece Whitted, 32, of West Princeton Avenue, was booked into the Mahoning County jail on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of drugs.

Reports said after he was pulled over, Whitted could be seen trying to hide something and he was trembling.

Police saw one bag of crack cocaine in his fist and took him into custody, then searched him and the car, finding the other drugs and cash, reports said. Judge Carla Baldwin of municipal court set his bond at $20,000 during his arraignment Friday.
