Girls in first- through eighth-grade are invited to participate in a two-day softball clinic presented by the Poland All Sports Boosters and hosted by the Lady Bulldogs Softball coaching staff and players. The youth clinic will be Feb. 17 and 24 from 9-11 a.m. in the Poland High School old gym.
Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their softball skills by participating in various drills focusing on hitting, fielding, throwing and base running. Players wanting to take part in this youth clinic should report to the high school gymnasium by 8:50 a.m. on both Saturdays with their own glove, bat, helmet, tennis shoes and water. The cost of the youth clinic is $30 per child. Each additional sibling will cost $20 thereafter.
Make checks or money order payable to the Poland All Sports Boosters as no cash will be accepted. Participants will receive a Bulldog Softball T-shirt at the conclusion of the clinic on Feb. 24.
