Thursday: The Warren JFK graduate put together five birdies in a first-round 71 in the Phoenix Open. Kokrak shot a 1-under 70 and is tied for 46th place, six shots behind leader Bill Haas.

Today: Kokrak tees off at 8:41 a.m. on No. 1. His playing partners are Matt Every and Charlie Beljan.
