Driver smacks into utility pole in Hubbard

HUBBARD — Crews are installing a new pole on state Route 304 about a mile away from Bellwick Bowl after the driver of a SUV struck a utility pole this morning.

While the pole was knocked out of the ground, the power lines were intact. Traffic may be slowed in that area as the crews are parked in the lane going toward Hubbard. Motorists should use caution when driving by the area.
