Mahoning County Grand Jury indicts 31
YOUNGSTOWN A Mahoning County Grand Jury Thursday indicted 24 people including Jeffrey Wescott, 51, and Mandy Hale, 36, both of Moore Street, on counts of illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, possession of drugs, child endangering and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Wescott and Hale were arrested Nov. 30 following a methamphetamine manufacturing raid at their Moore Street home. They are suspected of cooking methamphetamine with a 4-year-old and 8-year-old present.
Others indicted include:
Ricky Carter, 26, Thornton Avenue, obstructing official business.
Jermaine Beverly, aka Reginald Ray Young, 28, East Lucius Avenue, being a felon in possession of a firearm and aggravated trafficking in drugs with a forfeiture specification.
Janeiro Myers, 25, Atkinson Avenue and Dre Kelley, 22, Madison Avenue, direct presentment, being a felon in possession of a firearm and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Albert G. Maruna IV, 22, state Route 322, Orwell, three counts of importuning, four counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and possessing criminal tools.
Laronnie Franklin, 33, Dixon Streets, two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying concealed weapons and obstructing official business.
Anthony Johnson, 31, Marmion Avenue and Robert A. Sellars, 34,Stewart Avenue, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of robbery with firearm specifications and repeat violent offender specifications for Johnson.
Jaabone Kennedy, 66, East Indianola Avenue, robbery and OVI.
Michael W. Schulz, 56, North Lima Road, North Lima, OVI with an OVI specification.
Amy L. Brennan, 31, East Broad Street, Columbus, two counts of promoting prostitution and prostitution.
Annette Santos, 25, Spectrum Road, Dover, Pa., two counts of tampering with evidence, illegal conveyance of prohibited items onto the grounds of a detention facility, possession of cocaine and possession of drugs.
Majorie J. Taylor, 56, Bellevue, Mich., trafficking in marijuana and possession of marijuana.
Amber Emmanuel, 32, John Street, Struthers, possession of cocaine.
Sarah Howley, 40, Salt Springs Road, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Tiller, 24, Highland Avenue, Girard, two counts of assault and obstructing official business.
