Howland, led by Frank Manios (14 points), handed West Middlesex (5-1) its first loss of the season at the Sharon Holiday Tournament. The Tigers (4-3) have won four straight. Nathan Barrett and Jordan Sperling added 12 points each for the Tigers, who will play Sharon in the championship game today at 7:30 p.m.

NORTH JACKSON

Erik Hopfenziz scored 15 points for the Clippers and Hunter Zentner added five points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals. Cole Grope and Mason Robison each scored nine points for the Blue Jays.

NORTH JACKSON

Lukas Swartz led the Wildcats with 28 points and five steals and Kyle Coffman had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Connor Kerr and Nathan Stephenson each had 11 points. Freshman Connor Steffens had 18 points and Hunter Bates added 12 for the Rockets.

Tanner Holden led Wheelersburg with 26 points. Matthew Miller had 13 and Connor Mullins added 10 as Wheelersburg advanced in the East Liverpool Holiday Tournament. Abel Figley led East Palestine with seven points.

Warren Harding’s defense led to a win in the Sharon High School Holiday Tournament. Diamond Phillips led the Raiders with 17 points, five assists and seven steals. The Raiders had 25 steals. Kamarah Bender scored a game-high 23 points and Faith Burch added 11. Nadia Huebner led New Wilmington with seven points.
