Nicole Balog of Boardman and Garrett Bickerstaff of Austintown were married Aug. 11 during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony solemnized by Brenda Rider at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. A reception took place that evening at The Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The parents of the bride are Andrew and Vickie Balog of Austintown.

Joy Bickerstaff and Michael Williams of Boardman are the groom’s parents.

The bride wore an ivory, strapless ballgown.

Alicia Balog, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.

The bridesmaids, wearing wisteria-colored dresses, were Stephanie Budaker and Kelsey Harkabus.

Mike Lelesch held the responsibilities of best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Balog, brother of the bride; and Alec Harkabus.

Ushers were Daniel Rein and Daniel Ferguson.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a master’s degree in gerontology. She is a part-time faculty member at YSU.

Mr. Bickerstaff graduated from YSU. He is an engraver at Things Remembered in North Jackson.

The couple honeymooned on a cruise to Mexico and reside in Austintown.
