Bucks 120, Celtics 107

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points, Khris Middleton had 21 points and nine rebounds, and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the short-handed Boston Celtics. Tony Snell scored 15 and Thon Maker added 12 points for Milwaukee, which has won six of seven. Kyrie Irving had 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the Celtics. Malcom Brogdon had 10 points and nine rebounds and Antetokounmpo pulled down eight boards for the Bucks, who finished with a 55-36 rebounding advantage. Boston also sent Antetokounmpo to the foul line 17 times, and he made 13 free throws. Jaylen Brown scored 21 for Boston. Jayson Tatum scored 20, Gordon Hayward had 11 points and and Semi Ojeleye finished with 10 points.

Pacers 114, Nets 106

NEW YORK

Victor Oladipo scored 14 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter, Thaddeus Young added 21, and the Indiana Pacers beat Brooklyn, ending the Nets’ seven-game winning streak. Bojan Bogdanovic and Domantas Sabonis each added 17 point for the Pacers, who had lost their previous two. Rookie Rodions Kurucs scored a season-high 26 points for Brooklyn, and DeMarre Carroll added 16. Kurucs hit a free throw with 4:07 left in the game that made gave Brooklyn a 100-98 lead before Oladipo accounted for all of Indiana’s scoring in an 8-4 run that put the Pacers ahead 106-104. Oladipo punctuated the spurt with an impressive left-handed dunk over Kurucs with 2:01 left.

Bulls 90, Magic 80

CHICAGO

Lauri Markkanen scored a season-high 32 points and the Chicago Bulls won for just the third time in 15 games, beating the Orlando Magic. Markkanen was 12 for 20 from the field in his 10th game since missing the start of the season with a right elbow injury. The 7-footer also went 4 for 6 from beyond the arc. Robin Lopez had 14 points for Chicago, and Justin Holiday had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Evan Fournier scored 24 points, and Nikola Vucevic had 19 points and 19 rebounds after missing a game for the birth of his son. Markkanen hit the 30-point mark for the third time in his career.

Hawks 114, Knicks 107

NEW YORK

Kent Bazemore scored 22 points, John Collins had 17 points and 16 rebounds, and the Atlanta Hawks rallied to beat the New York Knicks. The Hawks had seven players score in double figures in their second straight win. Trae Young had 15 points and 10 assists, and Kevin Huerter finished with 16 points. Emmanuel Mudiay scored 32 points, but the Knicks dropped their fourth consecutive game. Kevin Knox scored 17 of his 24 points in the first quarter. Mudiay’s layup gave New York a 99-95 lead with 7:23 left, but Atlanta responded with a 9-0 run. Young capped the decisive stretch with a layup with 3:47 left. After Mudiay hit a jumper for the Knicks, Young converted a three-point play to extend the Hawks’ lead to 107-101 with 3:04 remaining.

Hornets 98, Pistons 86

CHARLOTTE, N.C.

Marvin Williams poured in 24 points on a career-high seven 3-pointers, and the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Detroit Pistons for the third time this season. The 32-year-old Williams finished 7 of 11 from 3-point range, and his 24 points were a season-high as the Hornets moved back ahead of the Pistons for sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Kemba Walker finished with 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting and hit two 3-pointers down the stretch to seal Charlotte’s second straight win at home. Andre Drummond had 17 points and 16 rebounds for the Pistons, who shot 39 percent from the floor and scored their fewest points of the season.

Spurs 124, Timberwolves 98

SAN ANTONIO

Bryan Forbes scored 22 points and the San Antonio Spurs set a season-high with 18 3-pointers in a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Marco Belinelli had 17 points and Davis Bertans added 15 to help the Spurs win for the seventh time in eight games. San Antonio has led by at least 20 points in each of the last eight games, and held an opponent under 100 points for the seventh straight time. Rudy Gay scored 14 points, DeMar DeRozan added 12 and LaMarcus Aldridge 10 as the Spurs were able to rest their starters for much of the fourth quarter. Andrew Wiggins scored 15 points to lead the Timberwolves, and Karl-Anthony Towns and Robert Covington had 13 each. Minnesota has lost 11 straight in San Antonio.
