v “A Tuna Christmas,” 7:30 p.m.: A veteran female cast brings to life a host of characters in Tuna, Texas, in this holiday comedy ($15, $13 for senior citizens and students) in the Moyer Room of Youngstown Playhouse; 330-788-8739.

v Rockin’ Around the Town Square, 8 p.m.: The holiday rock concert ($13), now in its 10th year, has a Trans-Siberian Orchestra flair. It’s at Main Street Theater, 5 N. Main St., Columbiana.

v Joy of Christmas light show, 6-9 p.m.: This drive-through light show ($10 per car) with dozens of scenes continues at Firestone Park in Columbiana.

v Solstice party at the Lemon Grove, 7 p.m.: There will be equal amounts of day and night today, and that is as good a reason as any to party ($12). “Dynasty” (8 p.m., The CW): As the Carringtons track down a dangerous enemy on Christmas Eve, Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies) and Blake (Grant Show) clash on how to best handle the situation, stirring up unresolved grievances.

“American masters – bing crosby rediscovered” (9 p.m., Pbs): Unprecedented access to Crosby’s archives highlight this look at the popular actor and singer.

Comedy shows at two locations

Mahoning Valley comedians Brad Ryan and Joe McCormick will present A Comic’s Christmas stand-up show at 8:30 p.m. tonight at Shakers BackYard Bar and Grill, 8942 Youngstown Pittsburgh Road, Poland; and at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Whistle and Keg, 101 W. Federal St., Youngstown ($5 cover charge). Both shows will be hosted by Steve Swanson.

Tickets on sale for five concerts

The Kent Stage, 175 E. Main St., has announced several concerts.

Beatles tribute band Hard Day’s Night will return on Feb. 23; Loudon Wainwright III plays on Feb. 28; Stephen Bishop and Robbie Dupree on March 2; David Wilcox and Mary Nielsen Chapman share a bill on March 29; and John Waite performs on May 19.

OWR receives gift from foundation

Opera Western Reserve has received a $2,000 contribution from the Warren P. Williamson Jr. Fund in support of the 2019 opera season. Opera Western Reserve will present its 15th annual fall production, “Macbeth,” on Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Stambaugh Auditorium.
