Kasich takes actions on abortion legislation

Gov. John Kasich has vetoed Sub H.B. 258 , which would have prohibited an abortion of an unborn human individual with a detectable heartbeat and created the Joint Legislative Committee on Adoption Promotion and Support.

He signed into law Sub S.B. 145, which criminalizes and creates a civil action for dismemberment abortions.
