Struthers to recognize 1999 boys basketball team
STRUTHERS
Struthers High School will be recognize the 20th anniversary of the Struthers 1999 boys basketball team and their achievements before their varsity game against Girard on Jan. 11. Madison Karr hit a three at the buzzer to win the game. Badger was down 52-45 with under 2 minutes play and outscored lordstown 11-2 to finish the game. Karr finished with 10 points and Kiersten Tricker scored a game-high 18 for Badger. Alexis Weekly scored 14 for Lordstown.

Sophia Constantino made three threes in a 17-point performance for McDonald (6-0) and Molly Howard wasn’t far behind with 16. Abbu D’Ostroph led Sebring with six points.
