Pitt's Bethany Rasile transfers to YSU soccer

The Youngstown State women’s soccer program has added transfer Bethany Rasile from the University of Pittsburgh, YSU head coach Brian Shrum announced on Friday. Rasile will have three years of eligibility beginning with the 2019 season.

As a freshman with the Panthers, Rasile played in nine games while making two starts at the defender position. She tallied 285 minutes total minutes and recorded one shot on goal against TCU.

Rasile, a Niles graduate, was a three-time all district selection and a second-team all-state selection her senior season. That year, Rasile was the All-American Conference Player of the Year.
