Library to offer computer class

SALEM

Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., will offer free classes to help improve computer technology skills, which may help participants find a new position. The class, taught by Stephanie Peterson, will take place at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 2.

The program will demonstrate resourceful ways to use the Internet to search for employment opportunities. Attendees are encouraged to take a laptop computer or tablet if possible in order to save classroom work as the number of library devices may be limited. Seating is limited and registration is required.

Register online at www.salem.lib.oh.us or call 330-332-0042 for assistance. The class is open to the public and free of cost to attend. The class is provided through a Guiding Ohio Online grant made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the State Library of Ohio.
